Remote Repair and Onsite Support
SysArc's remote repair and onsite support capabilities provide your computer repair support staff with two distinct approaches to ensuring the successful resolution to your technical issues. For example, via SysArc's remote support option, we provide a secure and increasingly popular way to troubleshoot and resolve your software related problems via a remote desktop connection. Your assigned IT Manager will utilize a third-party appliance (i.e. Logmein Rescue), to give him access to your desktop via an internet connection (broadband or dialup), from any location in the world. After access permission has been granted, our IT Team can control your mouse and keyboard, transfer various diagnostic and repair software applications directly to your desktop, run various scans as well as install antivirus programs to include patches and any needed updates. If permitted, our engineer can reboot your computer and remotely reconnect at a later time to continue resolving the issue without you having to provide further assistance.
SysArc's approach to remote computer support is becoming more popular as it can save time and money since you no longer have to bring your computer to a repair facility and then wait for it to be repaired. Additional cost savings can be realized with this approach to support as no travel costs are incurred. Furthermore our remote computer repair allows us to support your organization on a global basis if required.
Lastly, SysArc's engineers are able to leverage the vast amount of available on-line information to help resolve your support issue. For many clients, a Window XP issue can be solved using an online reimage process. After connecting to your computer, our engineer can use a remote reimage program to survey the millions of components in your Windows XP system folders and then replace missing or damaged files with replacement files from a clean Windows operating system. This reimaging process typically resolves most XP issues and is a prime example of the cost and time saving benefits of our remote PC and computer support capabilities.
The type of issues typically resolved by this support method include:
- Virus and spyware removal
- Optimization and performance improvement
- Registry repair
- Repair of device driver issues
- Web related issues
- Windows security and patch updates.
However, SysArc's support team cannot resolve all issues via remote support. Examples include a computer that cannot boot, or one that has physical hardware damage. But, our Certified System engineers can help with a reinstallation and/or provide additional technical support once you are again able to connect to the Internet.
Or, if onsite support is required, needed or requested, SysArc can quickly dispatch an dispatch an engineer from our Maryland, Virginia or Washington DC locations. In addition, we offer a number of methods to make either an onsite support, or remote repair service request.
