Executive Leadership and Management

SysArc's Executive Leadership is comprised of industry veterans that each have a proven track record of success as well as an exemplary reputation within the Information Technology industry.

Both Tim and Jim each have over 25 years of experience within the local DC. Maryland and Virginia marketplace.

Tim Brennan; Managing Partner

Tim has over twenty-five years of diverse experience in the Technology industry that includes executive management, sales management, technical project management and software development.

Tim founded SysArc in 2004 in an effort to provide small businesses with the technical assistance they needed from a firm they could count on to be responsive, competent, affordable and trustworthy.Prior to founding SysArc, Tim held sales management positions with enterprise software companies including Applix, OneSoft, BroadVision and OpenNetwork (purchased by BMC).

Prior to that, Tim founded Dynamic Software Systems, a software development consulting firm, and ran it from 1986-1990 until it was acquired. Tim started his career as a software developer and systems analyst working on government contracts at Galler Associates, Booz  Allen and CACI.

James Eglin; Partner

After graduating from George Mason University in Fairfax with a B.A. in Political Science, James briefly considered becoming an attorney. However, based on the recommendations of friends and a great career counselor, he decided to take a serious look at a career in sales and marketing.

His first job was as a Sales Representative selling dictation equipment with Harris/Lanier in their new Voice Products Division. With a great sales manager, solid sales training and the backing of an industry leading company, he quickly excelled winning numerous local and national sales contests and awards.

A few years later, James left Lanier for a small start-up software company that had developed an exciting application to help law firms and organizations more effectively manage very large document collections in response to complex litigations. IPRO quickly became the de facto industry standard as their litigation support software was used by over 70 of the AM Law 100 Firms.

Having established a name for himself within the Legal industry, James was asked to launch a commercial litigation support division for TechLaw. This company had been very successful supporting the EPA and other government agencies, but wanted to expand and diversify their operations. Once this division grew and was acquired, James was recruited for a similar endeavor with CACI/Advanced Legal Systems.

After only a few years, this new division grew to be largest provider of litigation support services in the United States. When it was acquired, this division employed over 500 people.

During his dozen years in the litigation support industry, James had the opportunity to be involved in many of the major litigations during that time frame that included the Exxon Valdez case, the Tobacco litigations, the Microsoft antitrust case, the OJ Simpson trial as well as many other high profile and visable cases. James became a recognized expert in the application of technology to manage large document collections.

After taking a break from the litigation support industry, James was asked to take a challenging position with Oracle Corporation to help them expand their business into the highly competitive mid-market. He quickly became one of the top revenue producers within the organization, left to help expand the business of the area's largest Oracle Partner and then started his own document scanning company.

Within four years, Digital Documents, LLC became the largest document scanning company in the industry and successfully completed hundreds of large scale projects for clients on a global basis.

James was then recruited by a venture capital firm based out of Dubai to further expand a global Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) firm. Legal Advantage, LLC soon became one of the top 5 LPO firms in the world with multiple sales and production offices in the United States and abroad.

In his current endeavor, James is an Equity Partner with SysArc and is responsible for all sales, marketing and business development activities.
