Tim Brennan; Managing Partner
Tim has over twenty-five years of diverse experience in the Technology industry that includes executive management, sales management, technical project management and software development.
Tim founded SysArc in 2004 in an effort to provide small businesses with the technical assistance they needed from a firm they could count on to be responsive, competent, affordable and trustworthy.
Prior to founding SysArc, Tim held sales management positions with enterprise software companies including Applix, OneSoft, BroadVision and OpenNetwork (purchased by BMC).
Prior to that, Tim founded Dynamic Software Systems, a software development consulting firm, and ran it from 1986-1990 until it was acquired. Tim started his career as a software developer and systems analyst working on government contracts at Galler Associates, Booz Allen and CACI.
James Eglin; Vice-President, Sales and Marketing
Jim Eglin’s expertise is driving growth for technology products and services companies – as evidenced by his record in marketing, sales, and business development with companies from startups to established industry leaders.
Currently VP of Sales and Marketing for SysArc, Inc., Jim played an instrumental role in evolving the company from a traditional IT services firm to a managed IT services provider successfully competing against much larger and more established players in the Mid-Atlantic market. Under Jim’s leadership, the company grew recurring revenue to more than $1 million annually in the last three years while tripling profit margins.
At SysArc and previously at Digital Documents and Legal Advantage, Jim focused the marketing efforts on web-based, viral, social networking channels to rapidly build credibility, visibility, and lead generation. His efforts resulted in #1 search engine rankings for critical keywords at three different companies.
Currently the SysArc community drives website traffic and referrals through client video testimonials, a Facebook fan page, an active blog, and a relevant Twitter stream – all of which produce more highly qualified leads and a shorter sales cycle.
In every role, Jim has exceeded steep sales goals while meeting perse challenges that include launching a new company (Digital Documents), accelerating ROI for private equity owners (Legal Advantage), and penetrating a new market sector (Strategic Technologies, Oracle). Focusing equally on sales strategy, sales process, and tactical execution, he has built exceptional sales organizations and personally landed some of the largest and most strategic accounts in company history.
Prior to his career in software sales and technology services, Jim was a recognized expert in advanced software applications and innovative approaches to support some of the largest and most complex projects in the litigation support industry.
Jim earned his Bachelor’s degree at George Mason University and has completed extensive sales and management training.
As a youth Jim was fortunate to live and study in the Soviet Union, England, and Spain as well as the US – a background that provides a global outlook to all of his activities today. As a volunteer, Jim joined the Audiology Outreach 2010 Team that traveled to Kenya to provide humanitarian aid to school children. As a Board Member for Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Volunteer Corporation, Jim directs the service providing career mentoring to college students and recent graduates.
